ABOUT CHAR SELF

Char Self obtained her Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego and a Bachelors Degree in Nutrition from the University of Arizona.  She’s worked in the in the health and fitness industry for over 20 years and is also a deep tissue massage therapist. 

Char takes a holistic approach with each client, with particular focus on how our mental and emotional perspective affects our physical well- being.  Her approach is to educate patients on their own union of body, mind and spirit which ultimately leads to taking complete responsibility for our health and addressing all aspects of ourselves. 

Char has a thriving practice in Coronado, California and specializes in a blend of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Orthopedic Acupuncture, Herbal medicine, Functional blood chemistry analysis and Saliva hormone analysis.
